About Livia Jo’s Bagels,
I am a proud woman-owned small business in the heart of Cincinnati, Ohio. The journey began in 2020, and since then I have been on a mission to create honey-boiled bagels that not only satisfy taste buds but also warm hearts.
Having a fresh-baked bagel every Sunday was a pillar of my childhood— I want to share that memory of love and community in every bit of a Livia Jo Bagel.

Livia Jo Weingarten
Founder & Bagel Maker
Livia is a self-taught baker, whose passion is to produce the yummiest bagel on the planet. She has been baking bagels for a few years, but only her family and close friends have been lucky enough to test the taste. Through her hard work, Livia was able to come up with the final golden recipe, which spurred her to create Livia Jo’s Bagels in 2020.
“Growing up I always wanted to bake or cook for my family. I loved being able to see their excitement while enjoying something I made. I pour a lot of heart into anything I bake, especially if I am baking for others. Anyone who eats something I bake is considered a friend. Just think of me as a sister who wants you to enjoy fresh bagels on Sunday mornings! You just can’t be mad while having a bagel!”

Aleah Mersch

Aleah and Livia met when they were studying Marketing at the University of Cincinnati’s Lindner’s College of Business. After having Aleah take Livia’s graduation photos, Livia knew who to call when she needed to have a bagel shoot. They have been working together since 2022. Aleah has an incredible eye behind the camera and a passion for getting the best shot. She has an amazing catalog of portrait photography for special moments and memories and has now added food photography to her tool kit.

Kenneth Tritschler
Graphic Designer & Social Media Campaign Manager
Kenneth and Livia met during a study-abroad trip while at the University of Cincinnati. Kenneth has a personal passion for graphic design and marketing campaigns. He is the graphic designer behind Livia Jos’s Bagel’s new logo. He is also the videographer of the social media content announcing the new logo.
